Micheál’s book “A Sketchbook of Dundalk, Past and Present” is a compilation of pen-and-ink drawings of Dundalk. The book was self-published by Micheál in 1988, many of copies were signed by the author.
Some copies are circulating today on rare-book websites and can be found as far a-field as the United States, and New Zealand. This gives validation to the extent to which Micheál’s work has travelled and is appreciated, a local artist with worldwide appeal. Micheál continues to research and write to this day. His passion for history and art, work symbiotically throughout all of his writings, where his detailed illustrations bolster and give context to his descriptions and analysis.
Micheál is currently working on his next book.
